If you’re using a ca finish and stabilized wood blank , wood movement should not be an issue.

Are those pads "one-time" use since they have CA glue on them?

I know it isn't the point of this video. But I love the shape of the walnut pepper mill. I haven't turn peppermills before. So I have been searching for shapes I like. I think this one is my favorite. Are there any dimensions anywhere? Was it a 10 inch mill or a 12? I would love to get any details that are available. Thanks!

I have now made nearly a dozen of these. I love making them and they have been super well received. I even made a hollowing scraper out of a cheap scraper I wasn't using. Such great inspiration! A great project. Thanks for sharing.

Are rings like this able to get wet? Maybe not completely submerged in water but would rain or hand washing damage the wood?

Great video, it is easy to follow what why and how. One thought I had, could one use some guitar string holding it in a loop with one side of the loop to the piece and burn into those rings on the bottom? One would have to hold the loop at just the right angle to the work, not 90 degrees.

About the center position on the diagonal. If you transfer the position as shown you wil get at the halfway position anyway. Maybe with a compas?

Tried to purchase the bead cutter, but there are no "bare" handles available. Must one buy an Easy Wood tool of some sort, remove the existing cutter and replace with the beading cutter(s)?

I bought this ring boring head, however the dial WILL NOT TURN. It wiggle from 5 o"clock to 7 o'clock, but will not turn 360 degrees as shown in the video. What can I do?

I just bought the wen 4444 4 jaw chuck. For some reason when I mount my bowl to turn the inside, the blank comes out of the chuck. I thought maybe it was my tenon length being to short. Maybe not enough wood for the jaws to grab. Tried that and that did not work. Didn't know if anyone else had trouble with their chuck.

I’m on my second Burnmaster. The reset button popped out on my first one but I had it for 8 years. This new one “Hawk” I haven’t had it for a year and the button popped out. I’ve tried to reset but the button is not responsive. Is there a way to fix this issue or do I have to ship it back for a refund?
